Auditions

Based on a true story, Bakery Hill is an original dramatic musical in 2 acts, sharing the personal and moving accounts of the people swept up in the events of the Eureka Rebellion in 1854.

Yellow Line Productions is committed to supporting and improving diversity and representation on Australian stages. and as such we will be practising conscious casting for our production of Bakery Hill. We firmly believe that Australian theatregoers deserve to attend the theatre and see the diversity of our country echoed in the performers we see on stage. Bakery Hill is set during the Gold Rush, a period of time which saw people from all over the world co-existing and working towards a common goal, and this is part of the story we are eager to reflect accurately in our production. Yellow Line Productions will consider performers of all backgrounds, gender identities and people with disabilities for all roles and strongly encourage all to apply.
